Genting Casino Resorts World Birmingham

About the venue

Resorts World Birmingham, beside the NEC, puts Genting’s casino in one complex with the Genting Hotel, a shopping mall, restaurants and a cinema. It opens daily from 11 am to 5 am, with live gaming from 1 pm, and no membership is needed.

Parking is free once you validate your ticket at either casino entrance. The Sports Bar has 18 large screens and private booths, and the High Line Bar & Lounge is for over-18s. Birmingham International station is about 600 metres away.

The Genting Hotel shares the resort with the casino; the Crowne Plaza is about 130 metres away.

Open-door casinos need no membership; some Genting casinos ask you to register with photo ID. Carrying ID is advised at every venue.

18+ only. Challenge 25: anyone who appears under 25 must show valid photo ID.

Dress code

Smart casual. Smart jeans and smart trainers are fine; football shirts, muscle or vest tops are not. No caps or other hats, so faces are visible on CCTV.

• Credit cards cannot be used to gamble in Great Britain: since 14 April 2020 the ban covers online and land-based gambling.
• Accepted payment methods at the cash desk are not published. Ask the venue before you travel.
